Welcome to Vocalistix. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Vocalistix text to speech reading service, available at app.vocalistix.ai and related applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Vocalistix reads text aloud. You paste text, upload a document, or share a link, choose a voice, and the Service generates spoken audio using artificial intelligence voice models. Some voices are AI generated. The audio you hear is produced by software, not a live human reading.
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. One person or organization per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You agree not to: upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use; attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; resell or redistribute the Service or the generated audio in a way that competes with us; or use the Service to create audio that impersonates a real person without their consent. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
You keep all rights to the text and documents you bring to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your content in order to provide the Service to you (for example, sending your text to our voice engine to generate audio, and saving your reading so you can resume it). We never use your documents or text to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy.
The voices are produced by AI models. Pronunciation, tone, and pacing may not always be perfect. The Service is a reading aid and should not be relied upon as a certified or authoritative recording. Where the Service offers a feature to read text in your own recorded voice, you may only submit a voice that is your own or that you have explicit permission to use, and you must confirm that consent.
Vocalistix offers a free trial and paid plans. The current plans are a 3 day free trial, then a Day Pass, a Monthly plan, or an Annual plan, at the prices shown on the plans page. Payments on our website are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Before any charge we show you the exact amount and date. We never bill you before your free trial ends. Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically until you cancel. The Day Pass is a one time charge and does not auto renew. You can cancel at any time in one step from your account, and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We work to keep the Service running but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will give reasonable notice of major changes where we can.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet every need or that the audio output will be accurate for every purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vocalistix and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
